Routine Boosters: Ensure your standard childhood DTP (Diphtheria, Tetanus, and Polio) vaccinations are completely up to date.
Hepatitis A & Typhoid: Strongly recommended to protect against waterborne or foodborne bacteria.

The rivers and lagoons of South Luangwa are home to wildlife, crocodiles, and microscopic parasites like Bilharzia. Never swim in still or standing natural water bodies. Stick strictly to your lodge’s private swimming pools.

The African sun can be incredibly intense.
